Daniel comes from an artistic family whose father was a ceramicist and his mother a painter. He was educated at a Rudolf Steiner school which specialised in creative arts. He trained as a carpenter and has worked many years set building and as a theatre technician while also performing on stage and the street.

It was while working on a show at London’s Queens Theatre that he was asked by the head of Archive at Cameron Mackintosh Ltd, to hang a few pictures. 8 major West End theatres later and over 2000 pictures hung he found he had a knack and enjoyment for hanging pictures. Then through word of mouth and reputation he branched off into homes, business premises and galleries.
With his knowledge of carpentry, arts and people skills Daniel is well placed to guide clients through some of the trickier aspects of hanging pictures. This can involve, placement or grouping. Sometimes a good chat and plenty of collaborative musing can get the job done and leave a client satisfied, which is what Daniel always aims to do.
When possible he loves to cycle and has managed to incorporate this into the business. If a ladder or specialist tools/fixings are not needed then the vehicle stays at home and he will turn up on his fold up Brompton bike, tools on board and with a big smile.
